This initiative is part of a broader government effort to promote sustainable travel and ease the financial burden on frequent travellers.

Key Details:

Duration: The offer is valid from January 1st to June 30th, 2025.
Eligibility: Frequent travelers who regularly use specific origin-destination routes can benefit from a 100% discount on their bus tickets.
Application Process: Interested travelers need to register for a user account on the bus company’s website, such as SAMAR or ALSA, and follow the steps to obtain their free travel voucher (bono).

Steps to Apply:

Create a User Account: You will need your Spanish ID number (NIE for foreigners), a bank account for the deposit, and an email address.
Secure Your Ticket: After logging in, navigate to the ‘Bonos’ section, select your journey, and pay the required deposit.
Book Your Journeys: With your bono, you can book one outward and one return journey per day and make reservations up to 7 days in advance.

Deposits and Rules:

Deposits range from €20 to €65, depending on the ticket price.
The ticket and the voucher are personal and non-transferable.
Proven frequent use is required for the deposit return, which will be processed approximately one month after the discount period ends.

This program not only provides significant savings but also encourages the use of public transport, aligning with broader environmental goals.
