Vanaf dag 1 stond Diego proactief voor ons klaar om ons te begeleiden tijdens dit spannende proces. Duidelijk, helder en het denken in mogelijkheden zijn door ons als zeer positief ervaren. Daarnaast natuurlijk erg fijn dat Diego als tolk alles prima kon vertalen en ons de stand van zaken steeds duidelijk kon maken.

Alles wat er rondom de aankoop geregeld moest worden (zoals aanvraag NIE nummers, water en elektriciteit, concept akte etc.) kon Diego op deze manier allemaal op afstand voor en namens ons inregelen. Hierdoor was alles steeds goed voorbereid en konden wij zo nodig -dagelijks- Diego contacteren in geval van vragen.

Naast de begeleiding en ondersteuning levert SGM Diego nog een stukje meerwaarde op het gebied van advisering. Wij zijn o.a. zeer goed geadviseerd m.b.t. het afsluiten van de juiste (woonhuis) verzekeringen, beveiliging/alarmopvolging en eventueel opstellen van testament.
Allemaal zaken waar je zelf niet direct aan denkt maar op een uitstekende manier aan ons gefaciliteerd zijn.

Once we decided
on our purchase, the whole process took from the beginning of May to the 17th June to finalise. We are very impressed with the efficient service from SGM Legal. Ideally, if purchasing a property I would recommend setting up a NIE number, bank account and an appointment with SGM Legal while in Spain, although we did manage everything through emails and post in the space of a few weeks. Silvia and Maria from SGM Legal were also very professional and kept us right with all the legal aspects including expenses, utilities etc .

We needed a Lawyer to carry out the conveyancing on the purchase of or villa here in Spain. We had an initial consultation with Maria who went through the whole conveyancing process. Whilst there was one unexpected delay during the process, Maria really helped to reassure us that they were doing everything they could to progress the sale, ultimately it all worked out to everyone’s satisfaction, her dedication to her work is outstanding, we were often updated via email on a Sunday. Transparency on pricing and a full breakdown of all the charges for the work being carried out was extremely helpful. SGM were introduced to us by our Real Estate Agent in Quesada, they have been fantastic sorting all the legal stuff we were clueless about, for the purchase of our Villa. They had Power Of Attorney to do all the necessary paperwork so that we didn’t have to travel backwards and forwards to Spain every few weeks. The POA meant that we didn’t have to sort out flights and accommodation every few weeks and we recommend that you seriously consider using this service. Our NIE, the Notary, electricity company, gas and water were all sorted by them too, all we had to do was the occasional email to confirm a few details.

We definitely made the right choice.
Myself and partner bought our property with the help of SGM. As with any big financial expense we wanted to make sure we had the best independent advice and expertise. After doing a lot of research we chose SGM Abogados as they had lots of positive reviews and recommendations from previous clients.
I can say we definitely made the right choice the legal work was done very efficiently and professionally with great communication all the way through the process.

Hello, We completed our house purchase last Tuesday and I must say the service from Charlotte has been amazing. She answered all our questions promptly and provided regular updates throughout – the minor issues that came up were dealt with and it was totally stress free.
